Terms & Conditions – Chardham Cabs

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Chardham Cabs website and all taxi services booked through us. By using our website, submitting an enquiry form, confirming a quotation or starting a journey with our assigned vehicle, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not proceed with a booking or use our services.

2. Services We Provide

Chardham Cabs arranges:

• Taxi services for Chardham, Do Dham, Ek Dham and other Uttarakhand routes.
• Pick-up and drop from cities such as Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun and Delhi NCR.
• Additional sightseeing and transfers as agreed in the final itinerary or voucher.

We act as a facilitator between yatris and vehicles/drivers. Specific vehicle models are provided as per availability in the chosen category (Sedan, SUV, Tempo Traveller, etc.).

3. Booking & Payment

• Bookings are confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation and/or voucher from us.
• A booking advance may be required to block the vehicle for your travel dates.
• The balance amount, payment schedule and mode (cash / online / UPI) will be shared at the time of confirmation.
• Any extra kilometres, tolls, parkings or route changes not mentioned in the plan may be chargeable.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our cancellation and refund terms may vary based on season, route and vehicle type. The applicable policy will be clearly mentioned in your quotation or confirmation message.

• In most cases, booking advances are partially or fully non-refundable if cancelled close to the travel date.
• In case of cancellations by us due to unavoidable reasons, we will try to provide an alternative vehicle or process a suitable refund.
• Refunds, if any, will be processed to the original mode of payment within a reasonable time.

5. Use of Vehicle & Yatri Responsibilities

• Yatris are expected to treat the vehicle and driver with respect and follow basic cleanliness and safety norms.
• Smoking, consumption of alcohol or illegal substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
• All yatris must follow traffic rules, local regulations and instructions given by the driver for hill safety.
• Any damage to the vehicle caused due to negligence or misconduct may be chargeable to the guest.

6. Liability & Limitations

While we strive to ensure a safe and comfortable journey, Chardham Cabs will not be liable for delays, losses or inconveniences arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

• Road blocks, landslides, traffic jams, accidents or weather-related disruptions.
• Temple entry queues, darshan delays or sudden changes in temple timings.
• Decisions taken by local authorities, police or temple management.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the taxi service component booked through us.

7. Changes, Delays & Force Majeure

In hill regions, route changes and delays may occur due to weather, landslides or government advisories. In such situations, the driver may alter the route or timings in the interest of safety.

“Force Majeure” events include natural calamities, strikes, lockdowns, epidemics, road closures or any situation beyond our direct control. In such cases, additional costs (if any) will be informed to you in advance as far as practical.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Haridwar / Dehradun (Uttarakhand), unless otherwise specified.
