Kedarnath Darshan — Family Trip“Driver Shri Rajendra ji bahut supportive the. Sonprayag tak smooth ride mili, aur elders ke liye sab arrangements pehle se hi ho gaye the. Dhanyawad!”
The Chardham of Uttarakhand represents some of the holiest and most spiritually uplifting temples in India. These sacred shrines — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath — form a divine pilgrimage route where millions of devotees seek blessings, purification and spiritual awakening every year. Each temple carries a deep historical and mythological significance that connects devotees to ancient Hindu traditions.
Your spiritual journey begins with Yamunotri Temple, the sacred source of River Yamuna, followed by the powerful Gangotri Temple, where Maa Ganga descended to Earth. The path then leads to the majestic Kedarnath Temple, one of the holiest Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, protected by Bhairavnath Temple overlooking the valley. The yatra concludes at the divine Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, along with sacred nearby sites like Tapt Kund, Narad Kund and the ancestral ritual point Brahma Kapal.
Devotees may also visit spiritually significant places connected to saints and sages such as the serene Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi near Kedarnath and the world-famous Kainchi Dham – Shri Neem Karori Baba Ashram, known for its peaceful ambience and divine energy. These revered temples and holy sites together offer a divine experience filled with devotion, healing, connection and inner peace for every pilgrim.

Many pilgrims from Kashi combine Char Dham with their spiritual journey. These FAQs outline travel options, route and inclusions when starting from Varanasi.
You can travel by train or flight from Varanasi to Delhi, Haridwar or Dehradun. From there, a private cab takes you along the Char Dham route. A longer road-only package from Varanasi is also possible but takes additional time and is less common for most travelers.
Including travel from Varanasi, you should plan for 11–13 days. With faster connections and less sightseeing, it may be shortened slightly, but 10+ days are normally required for a complete Char Dham circuit at a reasonable pace.
Typical hill route: Haridwar/Rishikesh – Yamunotri – Gangotri – Kedarnath – Badrinath – Srinagar/Rudraprayag – back to Haridwar/Rishikesh, then return towards Varanasi by train/flight as per your booked tickets and overall plan.
Inclusions generally cover private vehicle for hill journey, driver allowance, hotel stays, breakfast & dinner, and yatra route planning. Train/flight tickets, helicopter, pony/palki, VIP darshan and individual puja arrangements are extra or can be added separately in discussion with you before finalizing the package cost.
Yes, provided travel days are not overloaded and health is reasonably stable. We advise extra rest breaks, better-located hotels and assistance like pony/palki or helicopter for Kedarnath to minimise strain on senior citizens during the pilgrimage.
Typically 20–30% of the agreed package amount is taken as advance. Remaining payment schedule, cancellation and refund policies are provided in writing on your booking confirmation.
